This tool is used when replacing brake linings or when cylinders need replacing. Engage spring in tool head. Turn handle to lock spring in tool head. Then expand spring to install or remove.

Designed for import car brake return springs.
This tool removes and intalls import and domestic brake springs that don't use an anchor pin.
Also works well on brake springs that hook over an anchor pin.
